| Albany's Nate Novak slugged three home runs and a single while driving in six runs to lead the Albany Athletics to its 7th consecutive ATL win. Novak hit a two-run shot in the first inning and a three-run shot in the second inning then finished with a solo homer in the fifth inning. The Athletics' Nick Hansen also smacked a solo homer in the third inning and a three-run homer in the fifth inning. Ryan Lambert and Tim Carroll each collected a pair of singles. Athletics pitchers Dylan Angelo (4 IP, 6 K, 1 ER, 4 H, win) and Nick Bird (3 IP, 9 K, 0 ER, 1 H) combined for 15 strikeouts on the night. Troy was led by Dylan McNerny who singled twice. Josh Hall singled in the Haymakers lone run in the third inning. |
