GAME SUMMARY |
After giving up a run to the Albany Senators on a wild pitch in the 1st inning, the Capital City Kings tied the game in the 2nd after Fred Estes led off with a double and scored on an error. The Senators took the lead again in the 5th when Dan Coleman led off with a double, moved to third on a Brett Young SAC bunt, and scored on a Garrett Klahr single. Cap City evened it up in their half of the 5th when after a hit batter and a walk, both runners were advanced on a Ryan O'Keefe SAC bunt, and later scored one run on an error. The Senators took the lead for good in the 6th on a bases loaded SAC fly by Joe Bender, and added an insurance run in the 7th on a leadoff triple by Brett Young followed by a Garrett Klahr SAC fly, his 2nd RBI on the night.
