GAME SUMMARY
A's lefthander Bryan Carr tossed a four-hit complete game to lead the Albany Athletics to a 7-1 win over the Albany Thunder in game #3 of the best of five Championship Series.  The A's go up 2-1 in the series with a chance to win their 6th straight league championship with game #4 on Tuesday at 7:15 at Bleecker Stadium.   Carr struck out just two batters but held the Thunder in check all night--once with a no-out 6th inning double play with two runners on followed by a flyout, and also retiring the final two batters in the 5th with runners on 2nd and 3rd base.    Meanwhile Tim Carroll doubled in a run and Cam Overbaugh singled in a run in a 2nd inning rally to erase a 1-0 deficit following a Diogene Polo RBI single for the Thunder in the top of the inning. Nate Novak extended the lead with a leadoff homer in the 3rd and Jaden Ross singled in another run to make it 4-1. The A's struck for three more in the 6th when Novak doubled in a run and Chris Salamida singled in two runs.  Carroll finished 2-for-3 while Novak closed 3-for-4 on the night.    Luis Sena doubled for the Thunder but was stranded at 2nd base.
