Waterford Nationals ATL Loses Despite Out Hitting Albany Thunder ATL

Even though Waterford Nationals ATL collected seven hits to Albany Thunder ATL's five, they still fell 8-4 on Thursday at Bob Belizzi field Hofmn. James Dixon led Waterford Nationals ATL with two hits.

Albany Thunder ATL jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Jefri Castillo drew a walk, scoring one run, and Darwin Garcia hit a grand slam to left field.

A walk by Lopez, and a single by Castillo helped Albany Thunder ATL extend their early lead in the third.

Ivan Oviedo   gave up four hits and four runs (two earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out seven and walking four. Aj Masercola pitched four innings in relief for Waterford Nationals ATL. The hurler surrendered two hits and three runs while, striking out one and walking three. Justin Sargent took the loss for Waterford Nationals ATL.
