GAME SUMMARY
A's righthander Derek Duval gave up a 1-out single in the 7th inning to Max Keado which broke up a no-hit bid but finished a scoreless 7th inning to complete the A's 8-0 victory over the Waterford Nationals.  The Athletics have now won 38 straight regular season league games--a Twilight League record--going back to 2019.    Duval struck out five batters and gave up two walks. Waterford threatened in the 6th when they got two walks with one out but Duval settled in and retired the final two batters. Its his second win of the season.    Meanwhile, the Athletics got an RBI single from Mike Talavera in the 2nd inning and in the 4th inning.  Talavera finished 3-for-3.  Jaden Ross singled in a run in the four-run rally and closed 2-for-3 on the night.  RJ Pingitore capped the scoring in the 6th with a pinch-hit 3-run homerun.    Albany swept the four-game season series with Waterford and improves to 14-0 in league play and 21-1-2 overall. Waterford falls to 5-9 in the league.
