GAME SUMMARY
Right hander Mike Hughes went the distance for the Albany Senators in their 7-2 win over the Troy Haymakers, striking out one and walking only one.  Hughes scattered 8 hits, including doubles to Luke Visser, (who then scored the Haymakers first run on a throwing error),  and Andrew Brochu. The Senators wasted no time getting on the board in the top of the 1st, thanks to a lead-off single by Fausto Franco, who scored the games first run on an RBI single from Alex Koshgarian, who had a three  hit game.  The Senators scored two more in the 5th inning when, after singles by Kyle Sacks and Chase Crowford, they each scored on separate RBI singles from Franco and Alex Chandler, who also had two hits on the night. Senators catcher Tom Moore then put the game out of reach with a three-run home run in the top of the 6th.  The final run in the top of the 7th came on Andrew Wollner's fielder's choice,  scoring pinch hitter Zach Frese.  Antonio Archina was 2/3 for the Haymakers. SENATORS: Hughes-WP, and Moore, T.   ////   HAYMAKERS: Holland-LP, McCullough (7), and Archina.
