GAME SUMMARY
A's Lefthander Chris Salamida came in with runners on second and third base with two outs in a 4-3 game in the 5th inning and struck out the final batter of the game to hold off a Thunder rally and eventually allow the Athletics to win 18-3 over the Albany Thunder.    Salamida struck out the next six batters over the final two innings and earned the save as the A's rallied for four runs in the 6th and ten runs in the 7th to break the game open.  RJ Pingitore had a big hit early smacking a three-run double in the 3rd to give the A's a 4-0 lead then later collected an RBI single and RBI walk. Nate Novak doubled in a run and had an RBI ground out. Dylan Sprague doubled in a run and scored four times. The A's drew 15 walks in the game and took advantage of four errors to aid their rallies.    The Thunder got on the board in the 3rd inning with a solo homer from Jose Castillo who also singled and scored in the 5th on an Evian Arias RBI single to make he score 4-3. Ron Santana singled twice for the Thunder as well.
