GAME SUMMARY
The #1 Albany Athletics rallied for seven runs in the top of the 7th inning to snap a 4-4 tie and go on to defeat the #4 seeded Twin Town Devil Cats in game #2 of their best-of-three semifinals. The victory advances the A's to their 15th consecutive League Championship Series scheduled to start on Friday at 7:15 pm at Bleecker Stadium.   The A's got on the board in the 2nd inning when Mark Powell scored on a wild pitch, then an inning later Powell doubled in two runs to give Albany a 4-0 lead.    Twin Town got back in the game on a sacrifice fly by Robert Fratangelo in the 4th then Jared Russell  (finished with a single, double) doubled in a run in the 5th inning to pull within 4-2. In the same inning, Caleb Doyle hit a game-tying 2-run homerun.    In the 7th, Mike Talavera broke the tie when he laced an RBI single then Nate Novak doubled in two runs a batter later. Tim Carroll later singled in two runs to cap off the scoring and give the A's an 11-4 lead.    Athletics righthander Kyle Lambert tossed a complete game, gave up 4 earned runs and scattered 7 hits while striking out 12 batters.    Novak finished with 2 doubles, a single and 2 RBI.
