GAME SUMMARY
The Athletics' Chris Salamida went 2-for-4, scored once, and tossed three shutout innings of relief to lead the Albany Athletics over the Albany Senators, 5-1, in a key Haack Division matchup in the Albany Twilight League.  It was the Athletics eighth consecutive win to start league play.    Salamida singled and scored in the bottom of the first to tie the game 1-1, then singled in the second inning and stole second and third but was stranded. On the mound, he gave up a hit, 0 ER and struck out six batters to earn a three-inning relief win.  Starter Ryan Harper threw four innings and gave up no earned runs, two hits and struck out three batters.    The Senators rallied in the first inning when they loaded the bases on a hit batsman and got singles by John Montesanti and Alex Chandler, then got an infield error to plate a run. But the A's turned their first of two double plays in the game to quell the rally.    The Athletics meanwhile, erased the early deficit when Steve DeLuca doubled in a run, and Craig Mastroianni and Austin Lawrence each singled in runs in the first inning to give the A's a 3-1 lead.  Later in the game, Lawrence knocked in a run on  fielders choice to extend the lead to 4-1 and the A's got its final run on a wild pitch.
