GAME SUMMARY
The Albany Athletics hung on for a 6-4 victory over the Albany Senators in Game #2 of the League Championship Series.    The A's struck for two runs in the first inning thanks to an RBI single by Chris Salamida and RBI double by Dan Barbero.  In the third inning, Greg Sulz singled in two runs and a batter later Nate Novak doubled in a run to make it 5-0. The Athletics tacked on a run in the fifth inning on an error to make it 6-0.  However, the Senators rallied for two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning thanks to a two out, two-run double by Alex Chandler after a fielding error extended the inning.  Two innings later, Chandler knocked in two more runs on a single to close the gap to 6-4 but A's righthander Zach Breen relieved starter Bryan Carr to record the final two outs and earn the save.    Carr struck out 10 batters in 6.1 innings while yielding one earned run to get the win.  Barbero finished with a double and single and the Athletics stole six bases to set up scoring threats during the game.    Scott Hladik finished with two singles for the Senators.
