GAME SUMMARY
Nate Novak singled in the go-ahead runs in the top of the 5th inning to lead the Albany Athletics to a 4-2 victory over the Pinnacle Blue Jays.  The A's have now won five straight league games.   Novak finished with 2 singles, 2 RBI and threw two innings of relief to earn the win.  Connor Pingitore also singled twice and drove in a run.  The A's got RBI singles from Pingitore and Austin Lawrence in the first inning to build a 2-0 lead. The Blue Jays scored a run in the first inning on a wild pitch then got an RBI single from John Montessanti in the third inning to take a 2-1 lead.    Lefthander Cody Barnes went the distance for the Blue Jays scattering seven hits and striking out four batters.    (Note: this game was officially a forfeit by the Blue Jays due to the Blue Jays' 9th player arriving after umpires waited 20 minutes, declared the game a forfeit, and exited the park)
