GAME SUMMARY
A's lefthander JJ Pearsall spun a four-hit shutout and struck out nine batters to lead the Albany Athletics to a 13-0 win over the Troy Haymakers.  In the process, the A's won their 11th Twilight League Regular Season Championship in the last 13 years. The regular season title earns them the #1 seed for the upcoming playoffs.     In the game, RJ Pingitore got the scoring started with a solo homer to snap a scoreless tie in the second inning. Cam Overbaugh and Austin Lawrence each singled in runs in the inning to help the A's build a 4-0 lead. In the third inning, Pingitore and Craig Mastroianni each singled in runs to get the lead to 8-0.  In the fourth inning, Nate Novak doubled in a run and Mastroianni doubled in two more to close the scoring.    Pingitore finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI while Novak hit two doubles and had an RBI, and Mastroianni collected 2 singles, a double and 3 RBI.    The A's handed Haymakers ace Greg Hotaling his first loss of the season and swept the four-game season series. The Haymakers got a double each from Jeff Bink, Antonio Archina, and Connor McDonough for three of their four hits.  Troy is still alive for the final playoff spot while the A's capture their 19th league victory--the 10th consecutive year the team has won at least 19 games in league play.
