| Albany's Red Maron hit a two-run single then later collected two more hits and finished 3-for-4 to lead the Albany Athletics to an 11-0 victory over the Troy Haymakers. Maron had his third straight game with two or more RBI to open Twilight play. Meanwhile, Austin Rachielle homered in a four-run fifth inning and also singled to finish with three RBI. Nate Novak, RJ Pingitore and Jared Russell each collected a pair of hits and one RBI. Meanwhile, A's pitcher once again held their opponents to no earned runs for the fourth straight game. Greg Mays (3 IP, 3 K, 1 H, 0 ER), Joe Pokrentowski (3 IP, 7 K, 0 H, WIN), and Aviv Drucker (1 IP, 0 H, 0 K) combined for the win. Troy got a single from Justin Germain as its only hit of the game. |
