| The Albany Athletics struck for six runs in the first inning and pounded out 17 hits enroute to its 19th straight Twilight League win by a 13-9 score over the Albany Thunder. The Athletics have now recorded the second longest regular season win streak in league history (Athletics of 2011-12 had 23). Nate Novak sparked the first inning rally with an RBI single then hit a solo homer in the second inning and doubled later to finish 3-for-5. Craig Mastroainni and Cam Overbaugh each collected three singles. Nick Hansen and Greg Sulz each singled twice and Andrew Pedone tripled in a run and singled. The Thunder got a solo homer and three-run homer from Diogene Polo. |
