| The Albany Athletics struck for five runs in the second inning to jump out to a 6-0 lead and hold on for a victory over the Albany Thunder in a rain-shortened game. The win gives the A's their 22nd straight league win. The Athletics' Nate Novak, Nick Hansen and Connor Pingitore each singled in runs to spark a five-run rally. Cam Overbaugh finished with 2 singles and Craig Mastroianni singled in a run in the first inning and drove one in on a sac fly in the second inning. A's righthander Ryan Lambert yielded just two hits and struck out two batters to collect the win. Jose Ton-Ton doubled to lead the Thunder offense. |
