| Despite Twin Town lefthander Christian O'Brien holding the A's hitless with a 1-0 lead in the first three innings, the A's exploded for 16 runs and 12 hits over the final three innings to record a 17-1 victory. Nate Novak sparked a 4-run 4th inning with a 2-run dboubel and hit an RBI single in a 12-run 6th inning. Craig Mastroianni singled and doubled with 3 RBI while Tim Carroll, Nick Hansen and Greg Sulz each collected 2 each and an RBI each. Spencer Brown fanned 8 batters in 4.1 innings of work giving up just 4 hits and 1 earned run. Jared Russell singled twice and drove in the only run for the Devil Cats. |
