| Nick Hansen snapped a 4-4 tie in the 4th inning with a two-run homer to help lead the Albay Athletics to an 8-5 Game 4 win in the Twilight League Championship Series over the Albany Senators. Hansen finished with a single and homer. In the 3rd inning Nate Novak smacked a three run homer to break a 1-1 tie. He also doubled in the game. Dan Barbero hit a solo homer in the first inning to get the A's on the board. He finished with two singles and homer. A's lefthander Chris Salamida came on in relief in the 3rd to throw 5.2 innings giving up 1 earned run and three hits while striking out seven batters. The Senators battled back to tied it in the first inning on a wild pitch then in the third inning Garrett Klahr doubled in two runs to tie the game 4-4. Klahr finished with a double and single and Alex Chandler recorded two singles. |
