| A's righthander Ryan Harper tossed a 7-hit complete game shutout to lead the Albany Athletics to a 10-0 victory over the Albany Thunder and complete the four-game season sweep in Albany Twilight League play. Harper stranded 8 Thunder runners in the game for his second win of the year and allowed the A's to win on their third consecutive night. Meanwhile, the Athletics got on the board in the first inning on a two-run error by the Thunder. In the 3rd, Dan Barbero hit a solo homerun while Nate Novak knocked a solo shot over the fence in the 6th inning. Novak finished with a homer and double. Chris Salamida hit two singles and an RBI and Cam Overbaugh finished with two singles and two runs scored. RJ Pingitore drove in a run on an RBI double in the 5th inning. For the Thunder, Juan Fuentes singled twice and Evan Arias doubled and singled for four of the Thunder's seven hits. |
