The Albany Senators (5-4) scored two runs in the first on a Nick Melillo single, followed two batters later by an Alex Chandler triple and Scott Hladik single. The Troy Haymakers (3-5) tied the game twice and took the lead once, but the Senators prevailed breaking a 7-7 tie with a four-run sixth inning, then held on for the win. For the Senators, Scott Hladik was 3/3, with a triple and 4 RBI; Alex Chandler 2/4, triple, 2 RBI. Three Haymakers had a multi-hit night: DH Nilu Chirchirillo was 2/3 with a triple; Andrew Brochu 2/3, 2 RBI; and Luke VIsser 2/3. Frankie Pizzo started for the Senators, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits in 4 2/3 innings of work. Joey Moore went 2 1/3 in relief for the win, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, with 5 strikeouts.
