GAME SUMMARY
The Waterford Nationals (1-2) scored one run in the first and third innings off Albany Senators starter Sean Conroy, and held a 2-0 lead over the Senators (2-1) going into the bottom of the seventh, when Nationals starter Anthony Gerinerio loaded the bases on singles by Senators Rich Drum and Andrew Wollner, sandwiched around a walk to Eric Mueller.  Pinch hitter Brandon Cellucci then smacked a 2 RBI single off Nationals reliever Ryan Ensel to tie the game, which was then forced into extra innings when the next batter flew out to right, and the runner from third was cut down at the plate attempting to score.  Senators reliever Joey Moore held the Nationals scoreless for the 7th and 8th innings, giving up 2 hits and striking out 4. In the bottom of the 8th the Senators again loaded the bases with 1 out on a walk by Alex Koshgarian, single by Peter Close, and with first base open, an intentional walk to Scott Hladik. Rich Drum garnered the walk-off RBI on a fielder's choice, which failed to get the double play.  Conroy gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking only 1 in 6 solid innings of work for the Senators. Nationals DH Bill Kelts drove in the first run of the game with an RBI single for the 200th hit of his Albany Twilight League career, and Derek Becker plated the Nationals other run with an RBI single. NATIONALS: Gerinerio, Ensel (7)-LP, and Job  ////  SENATORS: Conroy, Moore J. (7).-WP, and Moore T., Wollner (8)
