| A's Lefthander JJ Pearsall struck out 13 batters and gave up just 4 hits for a complete game shutout leading the Albany Athletics to a 5-0 victory over the Capital City Kings in an Albany Twilight League game at Bleecker Stadium. The A's extend their win streak to 16 games overall and improve to 10-0 in league play. Greg Sulz and Alex Jurczynski each hit RBI singles in the 2nd inning while Craig Mastroianni and Dan Barbero each singled in runs later in the game. Nate Novak drove in a run on a fielders choice. Sulz finished the day with 2 singles. Joe Foran hit 2 singles and Anthony Scaccia doubled to lead Capital City who was held by Pearsall to just one runner reaching second base the entire game. |
