GAME SUMMARY
Albany Athletics righthanders Ryan Lambert and Zach Breen combined to toss a two-hit shutout leading the A's to their third win of the season and 27th straight win dating back to the final game of the 2019 regular season.    Lambert tossed three innings, struck out five, walked one and yielded just a 1st inning single to Nolan Duda who also doubled off Breen in the 6th inning for Waterford's only hits. Meanwhile Breen tossed four innings of one hit ball with 11 strikeouts, no walks and an "immaculate" 7th inning with 9 straight strikes to retire the side on strikeouts. Three times Waterford had runners reach second base but could not drive in a run. Both Lambert and Breen tossed complete game no-hitters last week to open the season.    Offensively, the A's only got a ground ball single from Nate Novak in the 3rd but pushed both its runs across in the 2nd inning when Waterford starter Ryan Catyb walked the bases loaded. Craig Mastroianni knocked in a run on a fielders choice then Tim Carroll scored three pitches later on a wild pitch to make it 2-0.
