GAME SUMMARY
Playoff Co-MVP's Craig Mastroianni and Cam Overagugh combined for five hits and five RBI's to lead the Albany Athletics to a 9-5 victory over Waterford Nationals in the game three of the best of five Twilight League Campionship. The win gives the A's their 11th championship and their 5th straight--both league records.  Albany also completed the perfect Twilight League season with a 5-0 postseason mark after going 23-0 in the regular season.   Mastroianni hit a three-run homer in the first inning to stake the A's to a 3-0 lead. He finished with a homer and single. Overbaugh smacked a key 2-run single in the sixth inning to extend the A's lead to 9-3. He collected three singles.    Tim Carroll chipped in with a 2 singles and an RBI double while Andrew Pedone singled twice to add to the offense.    Waterford didn't go down without a fight facing two six-run deficits. Gabe Murello singled and hit an RBI double in the 6th. Then in the 7th, Alex Chandler doubled in two runs to make it 9-5. A's reliever James Rubino came on with two runners on and one out. After loading the bases on a walk he struck out the next hitter then induced a fly ball to end the game.    Starter Kevin Connolly struck out six batters and gave up 3 earned runs in 5.1 innings to earn the win. Dylan Angelo tossed 1 inning giving up 2 runs while Rubino earned a 2 out save.    The series was a rematch of five other league championships between the two teams with the A's prevailing each time.
