GAME SUMMARY
Thunder righthander Marcos Almanzar tossed a three-hit shutout to help the Albany Thunder snap the Albany Athletics 15-game playoff win streak with a 1-0 win in game one of their best-of-three semifinals series at Bleecker Stadium.   Almanzar, who went undefeated in six games in the regular season, struck out 11 and escaped a 7th inning rally in which the A's had runners on first and second base with one out. The Thunder got their only run in the second when Cesar Matos doubled and scored two batters later on Raul Espinol's sacrifice fly.    Meanwhile, Chris Salamida struck out 13 Thunder batters and gave up just three hits. He retired 13 straight hitters at one point from the third inning forward.  RJ Pingitore singled twice for the A's, one of which led off the bottom of the 7th inning.     The A's, who have won three consecutive league titles and nine overall, hadn't lost a playoff game in three years. The Thunder are making their first playoff appearance and started the season 2-8 and now have won 12 of their last 13 games.
