GAME SUMMARY
Chris Salamida cracked a 6th inning solo homer and tie-breaking solo homer in the 8th to lead the Albany Athletics to their 20th win of the season over the Waterford Nationals. Its the 10th time since 2007 the Athletics have won 20 league games in the 24 game regular season and just three days ago wrapped up its 14th Regular Season League Championship including the last five.    Salamida, meanwhile, not only did it with his bat but also his arm as he tossed six innings of relief and struck out 13 batters.  He yielded one earned run and two hits on the night to earn the win. After his tie-breaking homerun in the 8th, Nate Novak hit a two-run homerun to extend the A's lead to 4-1.    For the Nationals, Ivan Plata doubled in a run in the third to give the Nationals a 1-0 lead off Salamida. Dan Bergami also doubled twice for the Nationals but was left on third base to end the inning both times.  Righthander Ryan Cummings went into the eighth inning with a three-hitter and five strikeouts before yielding the homer to Salamida.
