| Despite blowing 3-0 and 4-1 leads, the Albany AThletics rallied big in the 5th inning to defeat the Troy Haymakers 9-4.The A's extend their win streak to four games in the league and it was the second time in three days the A's beat Troy. In the 5th inning rally, RJ Pingitore hit a 2-run single to snap a 4-4 tie then three batters later Dan Barbero singled in two more runs to extend the lead to 8-4. Pingitore also singled in a run in the 6th and had an RBI walk to finish with four RBI. Barbero also hit an RBI double in the 2nd inning to stake the A's to a 3-0 lead, then hit an RBI single in the 4th inning to finish with three hits and four RBI. Cam Overbaugh doubled and singled for the A's. A's starter Bryan Carr was cruising until the 4th inning when Troy got consecutive RBI doubles by Mike Graves and Antonio Archina. Graves finished with two hits. Greg Hotaling singled in the Haymakers first run in the 3rd inning. Albany righthander Dylan Cummiskey sparkled in two innings of relief yielding just one hit and no runs to earn the win. |
