Ensel wins 7th as Nationals Sweep Cap City 10-4, 2-1
Ryan Ensel picked up his 7th win of the season as the Waterford Nationals completed a doubleheader sweep of The Capital City Kings. 10-4 and 2-1.
In the first game Dan Bergami Homered while Derek Becker Anthony Eaton, Nic Schaub and Becker each had 2 hits Tyler Becker had 2 hits for Cap City . The night cap was a thriller with The Nationals scoring first in the 4th inning. In the 5th Sportman 2/2 hit a home run off Nationals starter Ryan Ensel to tie the game at 1. In the 6th Chris Carbone doubled and later scored the game winning run on a long fly out to center by Bergami. Both pitchers Gregg Musk LP and Ryan Ensel WP (7-0) pitched complete complete games. |
