GAME SUMMARY
Albany's Kyle Lambert and Derek Duval combined for a 3-hit, 12-strikeout performance to lead the Albany Athletics to a 2-1 victory over the Twin Town Devil Cats, registering the A's 34th consecutive Twilight League regular season victory going back to 2019.    Lambert went 6 innings and struck out 10 batters before leaving in the 7th inning with a 2-1 lead and runners on 1st and 2nd base and no outs. Duval induced a bunt pop out then fanned the next two batters to earn the save. Prior to Duval entering the game Twin Town's Phillip Li singled in a run to pull the Devil Cats to 2-1.    In the 2nd inning, Albany's Mike Talavera singled in a run and Ryan Lambert doubled in a run to stake the A's to a 2-0 lead. Chris Salamida added a double. Despite the Athletics having runners on every inning, Twin Town pitching escaped trouble. In the mean ime, the Devil Cats had the bases loaded in the 5th and two runners on in the 4th but couldn't get the big hit to get back in the game until the 7th.
