GAME SUMMARY
A's lefthander Chris Salamida hurled a two-hit shutout and struck out 9 batters to lead the Albany Athletics to a 4-0 victory over the Waterford Nationals in game #2 of the Twilight League Championship Series at Bleecker Stadium. The A's are now up two-games-to-none on the Nationals in their best of five and are one win away from their 8th League title.    Salamida was locked into a pitchers duel with Tyler Travis heading into the 4th inning until the A's took a 1-0 lead when Dan Barbero scored on an infield error. Then in the 5th, Albany struck for three runs highlighted by a two-run single by Salamida after a pair of hits by Cody LaBadia and Ryan Henchey opened the inning.  Labadia finished with two singles, Nate Novak singled and doubled, and Ryan Henchey singled three times.    Ivan Plata and Cody Sullivan had the only hits off Salamida for Nationals.     Albany improves to 37-7-1 overall and the Nationals fall to 19-12.   The two teams return to action for game three on Monday at 7:15 at Bleecker Stadium.
